FOSER is in a unique position to serve as an effective intermediary between the information and assets that currently exist and the identified needs of local volunteers and leagues.  FOSER’s Board consists of two District Administrators appointed by each state, joined by Little League’s Regional Director.  Through our 85 Regional District Administrators, we have direct and ongoing contact with the nearly 800 leagues in communities across the eight states of the Region.  This network already serves as the two-way communications channel that helps Little League operate effectively. 

 FOSER serves as a means to utilize this network to develop and implement training and educational programs that meet the needs of these leagues and volunteers, and to provide meaningful feedback that can enhance the effectiveness of the content available through Little League, creating a virtuous circle that benefits the overarching goal of providing quality support for volunteers in Little Leagues both in the Region and around the world.
